Go to Blogger.com and click the tiny grey arrow to see a list of your blogs and select the blog you want to work on Look / scroll down on the left until you find 'Theme' Toward the center of the page, click on 'Customize' Choose 'Background' at the top left To remove the background image, choose 'Remove image' To change the image, you can click the background image and options will appear. You can even upload your own image! You can also click on the main color theme to change your main color theme :) Click apply to blog at the top right to save your changes You can also click on 'Themes' to try different themes Have fun!

You can add pages to your blog and edit them whenever you want. Pages do not work like the blog page, where you can add posts. Instead, you need to edit the page. You must be an admin of the blog to access the pages. In the main page for the blog, select pages on the left You will now see the pages listed in your main screen, and if you hover over a page name, you will see the option to click edit. You will get an editing window that is similar to the blog post editing window and you can edit the page. Click Update to save If you cannot see your page when you view the blog, you need to make the page visible.  Go to Layout on the left: Scroll down until you find the pages gadget. If you do not see the pages gadget, you can add one. Click the pencil to edit and then tick Show Pages, select which pages to show, and you can even drag and drop to reorder the pages. Scroll down to save Have fun!!

I live in a nice neighbourhood where everybody has a big strong metal fence all around their property. My next door neighbour used to have three tiny little dogs living inside his fence: a mother, a father, and a baby. I believe that these dogs were there to keep strangers away. Or possibly to keep my cats away. Regardless of their purpose, they barked at everyone. For a long time. As loudly as they could. I watched them for months. I noticed that when no one was looking, they played together, and that sometimes they spread out and took luxurious naps. I noticed that they were cute when they weren't barking. Every time I passed, even though they barked at me, I made nice noises to them and told them it's okay. One day a neighbour boy showed me that he could put his hand up to the fence and the biggest of the tiny dogs would smell his hand. The Hour of Code  and the Weeks of Code are coming, and we are excited to see what you will do! Special thanks to Mr. Matt for the original 2017 ISPP Hour of Code design! This year we will have a special challenge for all ISPP students to blog about their completed Hour of Code activities to receive a score based on the criteria below. All students scoring 8 points or above will be named ISPP Code Champions, and will be invited to join together for a celebratory lunch after the break. All students that participate will receive an Hour of Code Certificate. Some classes will be given class time to work on their coding activities, but you are also encouraged to Code in your free time, and to join us on Thursday 7 December in the Knowledge Centre for our whole community Hour of Code event.
