Photo Booth: Recording and exporting video

You can use Photo Booth to record video on your Mac.


  1. Open Photo Booth: 
  2. Select the film strip button from the three options (do you know what the other two do?) 
  3. You can add effects using the effects button. Avoid distracting and unnecessary effects.
     
  4. Click the red video camera button to record your video. You will get 3 seconds before recording starts. Avoid doing too many takes. If you make a mistake, just keep going. Seriously. Otherwise you will be doing this for hours. 
  5. Click the square stop button to stop recording. 
  6. You can watch your time (longer videos make larger files) 
  7. You can play your video by double clicking on it. You can delete your video by clicking on it and then clicking the 'X'. You can export your video by right clicking (or clicking with two fingers) and selecting Export Video.
  8. Give your movie a logical title (guitar practice 13 Aug 2014). Click on the down arrow next to the title to choose where you will save it and create a new folder.
  9. Click the arrow next to your current location to go to your username and then select your Movies folder. 
  10. Use the New Folder button at the bottom left to create a folder for the class you are in. Name the folder and open it.
  11. Click save :)

ManageBac for ISPP Students

Here is a quick tour of the new ManageBac user interface (UI). If you notice any issues, you can always contact Ms. Chelsea by email, or you can contact ManageBac Support by clicking on the Help and Support link at the top right of the page. When you first log in you will be in your Dashboard: You can click on your name (top right) to view your profile and change your password. You can see your Dashboard with your calendar and the upcoming events and deadlines for the next few weeks.  On the left is your navigation menu with links to sections of your ManageBac. I will now go through the options in the left hand navigation menu in the order in which they appear. When you click on Calendar: You can choose to view by month or week and you can scroll through the calendar. Blogger how to change your theme and background photo

Go to Blogger.com and click the tiny grey arrow to see a list of your blogs and select the blog you want to work on Look / scroll down on the left until you find 'Theme' Toward the center of the page, click on 'Customize' Choose 'Background' at the top left To remove the background image, choose 'Remove image' To change the image, you can click the background image and options will appear. You can even upload your own image!
