Blog Comment Settings

By default, Blogger requires Word Verification for blog comments. This prevents spam comments, but also prevents some people from making comments, and slows down the commenting process.

You can turn off word verification by going to your Blog Settings

Choosing Posts and Comments on the left

And selecting No for Word Verification

You can also require people to be signed in to make comments, this is good for communities so that we know who is talking. The setting is also in Posts and Comments. We recommend selecting 'Registered User.'
