Control notifications: Google Docs, Google Plus Communities, Circles, and More
I've been getting great questions from fabulous teachers about how to control notifications. A few classes using comments as a feedback tool in docs could quickly turn your inbox into a mess. Our use of Google+ is loading some inboxes with notifications about posts and being added to circles. You can control this!
In Google Docs:
Click on Comments in the document, then click on notifications, then choose your preference.
In Google Plus Communities:
Go to Google Plus
Go to Communities by hovering over Home (top left) and scrolling down to Communities

Click on the community and then click on Notifications at the top left to toggle (switch back and forth) between having notifications on and off.
In Google Docs:
Click on Comments in the document, then click on notifications, then choose your preference.
In Google Plus Communities:
Go to Google Plus
Go to Communities by hovering over Home (top left) and scrolling down to Communities


Click on the community and then click on Notifications at the top left to toggle (switch back and forth) between having notifications on and off.
In Google Plus Settings
Go to Google Plus
Hover over Home in the top left and scroll down to Settings
You can change your notification delivery for phone and email.
Scroll to receive notifications to control which notifications you receive. You can control notifications about Posts, Circles, Photos, and more.
