How to schedule meetings with your Google Calendar

Google can help you find times when you and the people you would like to meet with are available (provided, of course, that you and your colleagues enter your schedules in your calendar*).

  1. Click on the date and approximate time you would like to meet.
  2. Add a title for the meeting in the 'what' box and click edit event.
  3. Enter the name(s) of the colleagues you would like to meet with in the 'Guests' box. Suggestions will load based on your contacts. Select and click 'Add'.
  4. You can either click on 'Suggested times' for a list of times you are all available

  5. Or you can click on 'Find a time' to view your calendars.
  6. Once you have found a time, you can set privacy, reminders, and other details. When you click save, you will be provided the opportunity to send invitations to guests.

*For teachers with a complicated schedule rotation, entering teaching schedules is too time consuming to make it worth it. We are working on an efficient way of importing teacher schedules, but this is not in the top range on our priority list at this time.
