Setting your blog privacy

At ISPP, our vision is learning together, growing together, each making a difference. All students blog about their learning, and when we read each other's blogs and support and encourage one another with comments and conversations, we help make that vision a reality.

We need our blogs to be public, so that anyone with the link can view them, but we also do not want our blogs to show up in a Google search! We hide our blogs from search engines and Blogger blog listings so that we can easily share our blogs within our community.

To check your settings:
Go to your blog and on the left scroll down to select settings, Basic.


Make sure it is not listed on Blogger and not visible to search engines.

If you need to edit, the screen looks like this. Click No and No and then save. 

Scroll down to Blog Readers and make sure it is public. 
If you need to edit, the screen looks like this. Choose public.

If you ever need help with your blog, you can stop by the Tech support desk in the Knowledge Center or write to Ms. Chelsea!

Signing into ManageBac and using the Calendar

Welcome to ISPP ManageBac! You can use the ManageBac Calendar to organize your time and set deadlines and reminders. Your teacher can also add events for your classes, and in Secondary, when a teacher makes an assignment the deadline automatically appears in your calendar. To visit your ManageBac Calendar, go to  https://ispp.managebac.com Choose Sign in with Google and use your school Google account Click on Dashboard on the left menu to see your dashboard... ooh, ahhh! Click on Calendar to see your calendar. Over on the left, you will see an option to add a personal event and to subscribe to your calendar.  Adding an event Click on Add Personal Event on the right and you will get some boxes to complete. ManageBac for ISPP Students

Here is a quick tour of the new ManageBac user interface (UI). If you notice any issues, you can always contact Ms. Chelsea by email, or you can contact ManageBac Support by clicking on the Help and Support link at the top right of the page. When you first log in you will be in your Dashboard: You can click on your name (top right) to view your profile and change your password. You can see your Dashboard with your calendar and the upcoming events and deadlines for the next few weeks.  On the left is your navigation menu with links to sections of your ManageBac. I will now go through the options in the left hand navigation menu in the order in which they appear. When you click on Calendar: You can choose to view by month or week and you can scroll through the calendar.
