Step One: Create your blog. Go to www.blogger.com and sign in with your school Google account.

Notes (if you want to skip the video):
  • if you are under 13, you must create a "Limited Blogger Profile."
  • Your Display Name is the name that will appear on all the blogs you create, and your Blogger Profile. Your first name and the first letter of your last name is a good option.
  • Your Blog Title will appear on your blog -your full name and ISPP works well for your main ISPP blog (Chelsea Woods ISPP)
  • Your blog url must be unique and cannot have spaces or symbols

Step Two: Set your Privacy

Notes (if you want to skip the video):

  • You can go to settings and select not listed on blogger and not visible to search engines if you do not want people to find your blog.
  • You should leave your blog as public so that your teachers and fellow students can read it.

Step 3: Add labels so that you can organize your posts (optional)

Notes (if you want to skip the video):
  • Make a new post called subjects, and paste all of your subjects into the post, and into the labels for the post (this list may help you get started: Individuals and Societies, Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Design, Sciences, Visual Art, Drama). Publish
  • Make another post called Approaches to Learning and enter these as text and labels: ATL: Communicator, ATL: Research, ATL: Self-Management, ATL: Social/Collaboration, ATL: Thinking, Goals, Learner Profile, Home Group, Week Without Walls, Global Citizenship, Service as Action). Publish
  • Make another post called Grades and enter these as text and labels: Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12). Publish
  • Go to Layout, add the label gadget, name it Subjects, and select your subjects. Tick the box to show number of posts per label.
  • Add another label gadget, call it approaches to learning, select the ATL list including goals, home group, etc. Tick the box to show number of posts per label.
